NeoSpire is located in downtown Dallas, TX.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of enterprise software products and have experience managing a wide range of software on multiple platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Configuration and on-going management of Windows, Linux and Solaris systems.
- Maintain network and system security, ensure redundancy and fault tolerance into a variety of architectures for production, QA, and development environments.
- Proactively monitor environments and respond to alerts of system and application issues.
- Closely control production environments to ensure stability and security.
- Work with clients to implement system changes and resolve issues.
- Ability to articulate technical concepts to a variety of audiences including clients, developers, engineers, and sales representatives.
Skill Requirements:
- Solid knowledge and experience with TCP/IP and TCP/IP services such as SMTP, HTTP, FTP, DNS and Mail.
- Operating system experience with Windows, Linux (Red Hat, Debian) and Solaris.
- Comfortable with building a server and administering in multiple platforms.
- Ability to add users, groups, hosts, and devices to systems.
- Ability to add users, groups, hosts, and devices to systems/environments.
- Ability to translate functional requirements into technical project specifications.
- Ability to work in a 24/7 environment.
- Web servers/ application servers, and/or messaging services functionality in a multi-tier distributed application architecture.
- Working knowledge of MS-SQL Server, MySQL, DB2 and Oracle.
- Working knowledge of Tomcat
Preferred Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of enterprise software products.
- Experience working in a multi-operating system environment.
- Working knowledge of MS-SQL Server, MySQL, DB2 and Oracle.
- Working knowledge of JBoss, Tomcat, Websphere.
Communication Skills:
- Ability to document requirements and solutions in writing
- Ability to communicate technical information verbally
- Superior team and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to interface smoothly with clients.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Capable of performing in a high stress, fast paced technical hardware/software environment.
Experience Requirements:
- 2 to 4 years experience in an ISP or hosting environment.
- You must have at least 2-4 years experience with Network Engineering and/or Network Architecture, preferably in an Internet environment.
Compensation:

The ideal candidate will have experience in Java development at all levels of an N-Tier enterprise web application environment with strong skills in developing the front-end interface. Additionally, the candidate will have experience in the full software life cycle. The candidate will be required to develop within an MVC style framework and should have a strong knowledge of standard design patterns.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement functionality in internal and public web-applications.
- Develop processes for the task and process automation.
- High-level administration of Linux, MySql and JBoss application servers.
- Work closely with internal and external clients to gather requirements, design, and implement a solution.
- Examine and streamline work and process flows.
- Ability to articulate technical concepts to a variety of audiences including clients, developers, engineers, and sales representatives.
Job Requirements:
- Experience developing in Java 5 and a strong understand of Generics
- Two years experience developing in an N-Tier environment.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with experience implementing AJAX functionality.
- Ability to modify and update Ant build scripts.
- Strong OOD/OOP skills.
- Strong working knowledge of ANSI SQL.
- Experience developing triggers and stored procedures in MySql.
- Strong knowledge of GoF Design Patterns
- Experience developing in a MVC style web framework
- Experience working with DAOs and ORM tools is a plus.
- Unix shell scripting experience is a plus.
- Operating system experience with Windows, Linux (Red Hat, Debian) and Solaris.
- Posses a working knowledge of supporting JBoss on Linux.
- Understanding of OS, Web Server, DNS, E-mail, and Network configuration is a plus.

- Ability to document requirements and solutions in writing

Compensation:
The compensation package is competitive and is based on experience and performance.
Base salary + company bonus. Additionally NeoSpire offers comprehensive medical benefits, paid vacation and a 401K plan.
